Internet loves to tell you how it never forgets anything. But at the same time, there is no guarantee that your favorite viral chat video is on this Instagram or Twitter page the next day. Sometimes it's a good idea to upload your favorite videos from social networks, either for memories or to share them with your friends who are not on Twitter or Instagram.

And you can do it very easily, right from your Android phone.

1. Video download for Instagram

InShot's Video Downloader for Instagram is a versatile application. Yes, you can download Instagram videos using the application, but this can do a lot more. With image uploading, you get a convenient way to iron them, copy tags and share downloaded media on any application.

Generally, all this requires one or two taps and before you know it, the video is already downloaded to your local storage.

Step 1: Once you have downloaded the application, go to Instagram.

Step 2: Find the video you want to download and press the three-point menu button at the top right.

Step 3: In the pop-up window, select Copy Share URL.

Step 4: As soon as you do, you will see that the Video Downloader icon appears at the bottom of the screen. Press it.

Step 5: You will be taken to the Video Downloader application, and you will see that the download has already started. Once the download is complete, you will get a "Recorded Video" banner at the bottom of the screen.

If you do not see the application icon at the bottom, after copying the URL, simply open the Video Downloader application and paste it automatically to your clipboard and start the download procedure.

Once the Instagram video is downloaded, go to the History tab. If you want to publish the video to your profile, press Repost. Tap on the menu, and you will be able to copy the URL, the tags or edit the messages.

From the menu, select Share to display the Android sharing menu.

From there, select where you want to share the video

2. My Video Downloader for Facebook

When it comes to downloading Facebook videos, the process is a little different. There is no easy way to download videos from the Facebook application, so you will need to download My Video Downloader, sign in with your Facebook account, browse your feed in the app and find the video you want to download.

Step 1: Open MyVideoDownloader for Facebook and log in using your credentials.

Step 2: The application will display your Facebook feed. This is the mobile web view. Or search for videos in your feed or go to a page to find a video you want to download.

Step 3: Find the video and press it. This will display a menu. From here, tap Download.

3. Video Downloader for Twitter

This application allows you to download videos and GIFs from the Twitter application. All you have to do is share the media with the download application, select the quality of the video and you're done.
Step 1: Open the Twitter app and find a video or GIF that you want to download.

Step 2: Open the media so that it resumes the entire screen.

Step 4: From the Android sharing menu, select Video Download for Twitter.

Step 5: From the application popup, select the desired video format and video quality. Press Download to start the download process.

To find downloaded videos, open the application and tap the Videos icon at the bottom of the screen. Select a video, and you will see options for playing and sharing the video.
You can now quickly download videos from Twitter.
Share videos directly from local storage

Once the videos are uploaded to your phone, you can either share the videos directly with the download apps or the import option in chat applications. To share a video from the download application, tap the Share button, select the application, tap the contact, and then tap Send.

Otherwise, open an application like WhatsApp and tap the Gallery icon. The video you just downloaded will be directly in the recent list of media. Tap the video and it will be shared in the conversation.
Alternatively, use the grouped file manager on your Android phone to search for videos. If the app has a section for videos, you'll find them at the top of the list. You can also browse the entire directory and search for videos in the folder for the corresponding applications. For me, the Instagram videos were in a folder called InstaSave.
