In the field of mobile applications and games, "free" does not mean what it did in the past. A game might be free, but it hits you hard with purchases in the application that ruin the experience (watching Clash of Clans). There are still some free game bastions on Android. Now, this does not necessarily mean an application without purchases or ads in the application, but the distinction makes these things really optional and harmless. This is what we have below five games that you can download and play as much as you want for free.
Pacman 256
The classic Pac Man could be old (that's why it's "classic"), but it still offers plenty of intriguing game opportunities if you dress it up a bit. That's what Pac Man 256 is. It's a top-down isomorphic version of Pac Man, but it's never-ending. You travel up, avoid or eat ghosts by grabbing power-ups, etc.
The world is randomly generated, and the more you get, the more power you get. The power-ups could allow you to explode ghosts with a laser or freeze them in place, but they are all scattered in the voxel style world, just like power pellets. Leap Day uses monsters and cute cartoony environments to provide an excellent place for you to make platforms. But it's not just a place. It's a new place every day. Leap Day gets a new level every day, and sometimes they are radically different in terms of visual style.
The game never changes in Leap Day. All you need to do is hit to jump when your avatar moves on the screen. It's harder than you do not want to avoid all the monsters and traps, but there are checkpoints from time to time. However, you can only unblock them by collecting enough of the right fruit diet along the way. Alternatively, you can watch an ad. There is also an upgrade in the application to unlock all control points when you reach them. Again, this is totally optional and does not prevent the game.
I do not know if Leap Day is a truly endless platform game, but I have a lot of mileage. It is a super smooth and fast game to play for a few minutes at a time.
The Adventure of Alto
In some respects, Alto's Adventure is the opposite of Leap Day. This is not only a slower, more relaxing experience, but also a decline in the situation. In this game, you are a Shepard whose llamas have escaped into the mountain. You must pursue them on your skis or snowboard. Catching llamas is good, but grabbing gold will also add to your score. A simple blow makes you jump, and a prolonged pressure lets you go back. You get a pulse of speed to remove a backflip, but make sure you stop at the right time or a finished game. In general, getting into anything is the end.
You can start again in a few taps, then you have to beat your previous mark. You could also consider targeting the ongoing quests offered by the game. The Alto adventure is delightful and relaxing with its soft colors and almost watercolor vibrations. There is also a complete day-night cycle. The various esoteric energies you encounter help to promote this feeling. There is one that makes you float, another that pulls in nearby coins with a radiant glow, and so on.
Alto's Adventure is free to download, and there is no limit to your interpretation. You can buy more parts if you really want to, but it's not necessary.
Mini DayZ
Could you survive the zombie apocalypse? Probably not. Let's be honest here. You can simulate all the many ways you could die by spending a little time with Mini DayZ. This is a descending zombie survival game with retro graphics, but a surprisingly deep game play. You will die a lot, but the world comes back completely every time for a new experience.
There are buildings and loot cars, survivors to avoid (or shoot), and infected people who want your brain. Most executions will end with you in a few minutes, but over time you will learn how to use your limited inventory and create new objects. It also takes happiness.
As far as the monetary aspect is concerned, there is not one. Mini DayZ is supported by advertising, and they are not intrusive. I think the most intrusive is the option to watch an ad to save your game after death. It is otherwise a roguelike experience.
Lode Runner 1
Lode Runner is a classic game from the DOS era, and now you can relive the show in this updated version courtesy of Nexon. Your goal at every level is to beat the monks crazy, but you do not shoot them. No, you're shooting around them. Using your trusted blaster, you create pits for the monks. This allows you to use them as aisles to get to the end of the level
This game takes place in the 2D style side-scrolling the original, but the visuals have been updated dramatically. There are cool lighting effects, and the animations are very modern. There are 300 built-in levels, but there is also a level generator. It's easy to share your creations with other people, so you will never be completely happy.
Nexon could have charged for it, and I'm still not sure what it was not. The usually IAP-happy Nexon was somehow persuaded and / or threatened to make this game 100% free. No purchase in the app at all this one.
