Best Truecaller tricks

Truecaller is the caller ID application you always wanted. A digital yellow book that contains not only the numbers and identification of millions of users, but also a topic of research. Automatically block spam calls? Yes please. The ability to search any number? Do not bother me if I do.

Truecaller is full of features and options. If you are a Truecaller user, learning the following features will definitely improve your experience.

1. Become a pro when blocking calls

Truecaller scans millions of phone calls and tracks whose phone numbers are blocked. This means that Truecaller has a database on spammers.
On the application's Block tab, you can enable automatic blocking of common spammers and even phone numbers marked "unknown".

Below is an option to reject the call automatically or simply turn off the ringer.
One feature I really like is the floating action button to block calls manually. From there you will see options to enter a phone number or select a recent call or recent contact
Using the Number series, you can block calls from any country by simply adding the ISD code.

2. Discover the contacts you might know

Like Facebook and Twitter, Truecaller has a tab Discovery. This is populated automatically - depending on where you are located, which is in your contact book and more. Truecaller is really good for creating a relationship between contacts. So if a number of my friends are in a person's contact book, it's possible that I know them.
When you encounter a contact whose details are not public, Truecaller even shows an organizational chart of the friends you have in common and who introduces you to the contact.

3. Identify telephone numbers

When you open the application, you will see a search tab at the top. Simply type the number you want to identify. But you can do more. You can enter an address and select the country.

The search field accepts phone numbers and names. When you find the person you were looking for, press to view details.
Additionally, Truecaller comes with an automatic search option. That's how it works. You browse the web or you encounter a phone number. Simply highlight the phone number, copy it and a floating window with the information on the number will appear.

4. Configuring your own Truecaller profile

If you are the kind of person who calls a lot of people, this could help you display your information on the other person's screen. If your profile has an image, your full name and what you do there on the demarcation screen, the chances of someone recovering your call are much higher. This would also help if you checked on Truecaller (which is easy to do).

Start by adding an e-mail address, a website and a profile image. You can also add a description about you from the About column.

Go to Settings -> Privacy and Allow to select the request only instead of Public.
