How to Increase The Charging Speed Of Your Mobile

android mobile

A dying smart phone battery is a very common first-rate problem, apparently always being exhausted when you need it most. Recharging your phone in advance is the obvious solution to the problem, but refueling your lithium battery is not always quick.

We've already talked about ways to keep your phone's battery when you're not on the charger range, but there are also some quick hacks that you can use for faster charging on those days when you have been released five minutes ago.

Increase the charging speed of your mobile -  Airplane mode

The easiest way to speed up the charging process is to switch your phone to Airplane mode before connecting your charger. What it does is turn off your cell phone's connections to cellular, Bluetooth, radio and Wi-Fi services that assume power in the background, even when you're not using your device.

Whether you're an Android user, iOS, or Windows Phone, you can activate Airplane mode by tapping the Settings app on your Home screen, selecting "Airplane Mode" and dragging it to On. You know that this mode is activated by the icon of the small plane which will appear at the top of the screen of your phone.

Switching to Airplane mode means you will not be able to make or receive calls or text, or use data or GPS until you return to normal phone settings. But this will help recharge your phone faster and will help you to consider your mother's warnings not to make calls when your phone is connected to a charger (at least if you are using a third-party charger - otherwise you're probably good ).

Wall Chargers vs. USB ports

As for how to charge your phone, the official wall chargers that are packed with your smartphone are the optimal choice. Wall chargers have a stronger amplifier output than the USB ports on your laptop or computer, and a charger produced by your phone's manufacturer will work better than an economical and third-party imitation.

Be warned that suspicious imitation chargers have been associated with electrocution and overheating, so we recommend that you avoid them completely and stick them with the chargers approved by the manufacturer of your phone.

While a wall outlet is best, it is sometimes best to plug your phone into the USB port of your laptop. The disadvantage here is that the output power of a USB port is much lower, which will greatly slow down your charging time. It may take hours to move from empty to fully charged.

If you rely on your computer regularly to keep your smartphone charged, you can bypass the slower output of USB ports. Devices such as ChargeDr claim to increase the power of your laptop or desktop computer, so your smart phone will be charged in half the usual time.

You can also search for specially designed cables with two "male" USB connectors and a micro USB connector, so that you can charge a single device using power from two USB ports at the same time.

And if you use an iPhone and have a more recent Macbook or iMac model at home, your Apple product will automatically recognize your iPhone when connected and will increase the output on your phone to speed up the charge. Genius.

Fast chargers

If the official wall charger on your device does just get the job done quickly, your phone can be compatible with fast charging accessories, such as the HTC Quick Charger, or the Samsung Quick Charger. Newer Android devices support extra-fast charging, which simply allows you to get more power from your smartphone without damaging the battery - meaning you can recover your handset 100% in record time.

Most fast chargers offer about 1.4 times the charging speed of standard models, but you will find that while your device will return to 50% in no time, it may decrease when your phone's battery is close to 100%. A slower charge when your battery reaches capacity is needed to avoid damaging your device, and while it is safe to use, you may notice that the fast charge generates much more heat from the device than a standard wall charger.

Replacement batteries and enclosures

Alternatively, you can also invest in an external battery pack for emergencies when you can not access a power outlet. Good external batteries cost about $ 50 - $ 100, depending on capacity and capabilities, and can ensure you are not stuck with a dead device during those long days when a powered smartphone is essential.

Mophie's "fruit juice" range is also an excellent option when you need a long battery life. Compatible cases with iPhone and Samsung Galaxy can increase the life of your device by 60% at the touch of a button.

One last thing...

Although all these tips are designed to help you get some extra juice for your handset when time is a factor, we do not recommend using them on a daily basis. All in all, a slow and steady charge is much better for the long-term battery life of your phone than to pump it full of power every time your device needs a reload.
