Update:

The new Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL models have just launched Android Oreo right out of the box. If you want to get your hands on the latest Google software, these are sure to be one of the best ways to discover Android Oreo.

Android Oreo is the official name for the next version of Google's popular mobile operating system, available for some devices.

In terms of key features, Oreo focuses on speed and efficiency. For many upgraded phones to Android 8.0, another name for Oreo, startup speeds will be increased up to twice, as we have personally seen with Google Pixel. In addition, updating the operating system tackles the pesky background activity that drains your battery and your data plan.

While it's clear about the visual changes, Oreo offers useful design settings, such as the PiP (picture-in-picture) for YouTube, Hangouts and others, and notification points that give you a boost colorful to check your notifications.
